If so, Bright Futures Homes is looking for dedicated Waking Night Support Workers to join our team.

Your Role
As a Night Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Remain awake throughout the night to ensure the safety and security of children in our care.
- Respond to any needs or incidents overnight with empathy and professionalism.
- Maintain awareness of children’s movements and provide emotional and practical support as required.
- Monitor and address any safeguarding concerns, including self-harm, online safety, or missing persons.
- Ensure the home is safe, clean, and secure, maintaining a nurturing environment for the children.
- Provide a detailed handover to the incoming day staff and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Collaborate with the wider care team to follow and update support plans, risk assessments, and daily logs.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Resilience, empathy, and a passion for helping children from challenging backgrounds.
- An ability to work independently, with a clear understanding of safeguarding practices.
- A willingness to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Caring for Children and Young People within two years (statutory requirement).
- A full driving licence and an Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
